ACCOUNT MANAGER
Purpose of the Role
This position is responsible for creating, strategically maintaining, and expanding relationships with key partners such as builders, developers, and real estate firms. The Account Manager will be the primary point of contact and will be accountable for leveraging opportunities to increase volume and maximize growth potential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Acquire and manage portfolio of strategic partners and foster long-term relationships
- Generate new business through direct communication including video e-mails, phone calls, direct mail, face-to-face meetings, and more
- Deliver our products and solutions to key business partners to help increase their own production
- Understand mortgage loan products and how those loans fit in with the current real estate marketplace
- Grow and maintain customer base
- Attend appropriate industry events and conferences to effectively network and grow your industry presence
Required Qualifications
- Sales experience preferably in a commission only structure
- Experience as an account manager or client relations
- Proven track record of driving for results with minimal ongoing direction
- Comfortable with a changing and dynamic work environment
- Ability to confront problems promptly and act decisively
- Energetic and inquisitive, quick learner, takes initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Willing to train the right highly-motivated, results driven individual for this position

LOAN OFFICERS
Purpose of the Role
Our mortgage brokerage is hiring self producing loan officers who are prepared to make a difference in the lives of customers looking to buy or refinance their home. The Loan Officer will implement a consumer centric focused approach. This includes being laser focused on customer satisfaction through educating, consulting, advising, and delivering an unparalleled customer experience throughout the loan process.
The ideal candidate has experience managing a loan pipeline of five or more loans, excellent communication skills, proficient in utilizing new technology, retains information on multiple new products, and has entrepreneurial spirit. We are currently active in North Carolina and South Carolina, and hiring loan officers in each state.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform business development tasks; including managing the pipeline by generating leads and referral business, attending open houses, contacting building, realtors, developers, and other referral sources in their immediate area
- Maintain knowledge of all applicable lending regulations, the economy, market rates, vendors, and competitors
- Stay up-to-date on changes in market conditions that affect the company’s many loan products
- Work with existing clients to strengthen relationships, encourage referrals, and enhance your reputation among others seeking loans
- Explain the different types of loans and credit options that are available to customers, as well as the terms of those services
- Obtain relevant information and evaluate applicants’ financial status, including credit history, debt-to-income ratio, and appraisal reports, to determine recommendation for loan approval
- Meet and communicate with applicants to explain the risks and benefits, as well as the terms of loan products and government regulations
- Maintain an active knowledge base of all of the organization’s loan products and an understanding of the qualifications required of each applicant
- Submit complete and accurate mortgage loan packages that provide all information needed to make an underwriting decisions
- Meet and maintain all mortgage loan origination licensing requirements including continuing education requirements
- Represent On Point Home Loans at community events and host seminars
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in the consumer loan industry and mortgage sales experience
- Current registration under the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
- Experience in lending, banking, sales, or customer service
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Strong attention to detail and a mind for numbers
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
